- Fizyoterapist ve/veya Fizik Tedavi ve Rehabilitasyon doktoru başkanlığında fizyoterapi uygulamasına yardım eder.
- Fizyoterapi teknikeri profesyonel, yasal ve etik standartlarda uygulamalar yapar.
- Rehabilitasyon ve ilgili disiplinler ile biyolojik ve sosyal bilimlerin; konsept, ilke ve teorilerine bağlı bir hizmet sunumunda bulunur.
- Hasta ve çalışma arkadaşlarıyla gerektiğinde yazma, konuşma ve davranışsal yöntemleri kullanarak etkili bir iletişim kurar.
- Sağlık alanındaki son gelişmelerle uyumlu teknolojileri kullanır.
- Çevre duyarlılığı, toplumsal duyarlılık geliştirmiş, farklılıklara saygı gösteren, farklı durumlara ve sosyal rollere uyum gösteren kişilik özellikleri geliştirme.
Devlet hastanelerinde, fizik tedavi ve rehabilitasyon merkezlerinde, özel hastanelerin fizik tedavi ve rehabilitasyon ünitelerinde görev alabilirler.
