| Giriş Şartı | Bu programa öğrenci kabulü, Yükseköğretim Kurumu (YÖK) tarafından belirlenen yönetmelikler çerçevesinde, Ölçme Seçme ve Yerleştirme (ÖSYS) Merkezi tarafından yapılan sınav sistem ile olmaktadır. Öğrenciler, öğrenim görmek istedikleri program tercihlerini bildirdikten sonra, bu sınavdan aldıkları puana göre bu merkez tarafından ilgili programlara yerleştirilmektedir. Yabancı uyruklu öğrenciler, bu programa uluslararası geçerliliği olan SAT, ACT gibi sınav sonuçlarıyla ya da ortaöğretim mezuniyet notlarına göre Önlisans ve Lisans Programları Yabancı Uyruklu Öğrenci Kabul Yönergesi koşullarınca kabul edilmektedir. Genel Akademik Değişim Protokolü olan programlara öğrencilerin kabulü, Maltepe Üniversitesi ile işbirliği yapılan (partner) üniversite arasında imzalanan ikili anlaşmalar (ERASMUS, FARABİ, vb. gibi.) çerçevesinde yapılmaktadır. | Başarma Şartları | Mezuniyet derecesi Öğrencilerin mezuniyet dereceleri dönem başarı notlarının ortalamasıdır. Bu Genel Başarı Notu olup öğrencinin mezuniyet notudur. Diploma ve Ünvanlar Tıp Fakültesinde aşağıdaki diplomalar verilir a) Temel Tıp Bilimleri Ön Lisans Diploması: Temel Tıp Bilimleri Ön Lisans Kademesini (Birinci ve ikinci dönem) en çok 4 (dört) yılda başarı ile tamamlayanlara, üniversiteden ayrılmaları veya belirlenen süre içinde Tıp Fakültesini tamamlamalarının mümkün olmadığı hallerde “Temel Tıp Bilimleri Ön Lisans Diploması” verilir. Bu işlemler, Yüksek Öğretim Kurulunun hazırladığı yönetmelik esaslarına göre yapılır. b) Tıp Doktorluğu Diploması: Tıp doktorluğu için öngörülen altı dönemlik eğitim süresini başarı ile tamamlayanlara Hipokrat yemini yaptırılarak “Tıp Doktorluğu Diploması” verilir. | |

- Tıp Fakültesi lisans programının amacı, mesleğini etik kavram ve yasal kuralları gözeterek uygulayan; araştırmacı ve sorgulayıcı; hastalıkların fizyopatogenezi ile klinik ve tanısal özelliklerini açıklayabilen; tanı ve tedavisi için gerekli temel tıbbi yaklaşımları uygulayabilen; ülkemizin ve bölgemizin sağlık sorunlarını değerlendirebilen ve bunların birinci basamakta üstesinden gelebilecek yeterli bilgi beceri ve tutumla donanmış; yaşam boyu eğitimi benimsemiş, bilgiye ulaşım yollarını bilen, bu bilgiyi uygulayabilen; birey, toplum ve çevre sağlığıyla ilgili problemleri çözebilecek bilgi ve beceriye sahip, toplumun sağlık ile ilgili eğitimi konusunda duyarlı; Sağlık Hukuku alanında güncel yetki ve sorumluluklarını bilen hekimler yetiştirmektir.

| Access Requirements | Admission to our programme is based on the scores obtained from the nation-wide university enterance exam organized by the Assessment, Selection and Placement Centre (OSYM) within the framework set by the regulations of Higher Education Council (HEC) of Turkey. After the students inform the Assessment, Selection and Placement Center about their preferred programmes, they are placed in the related programmes according to the scores obtained from the entrance exam. Foreign student admissions to the programme are made according to the scores obtained from internationally acceptable exams such as SAT, ACT or their high school graduation grades in accordance with Undergraduate and Graduate Programs for Foreign Students Admission Guidelines. The admission of students to the programmes with the General Academic Exchange Protocol is made within the framework of the bilateral agreements (ERASMUS, FARABI, etc) signed between Maltepe University and the partner universities. Visiting students may enroll for the courses in this programme if the related academic unit approves. Sufficient language ability to follow the programme is required. | |
| Conditions for Success | Graduation Grade The graduation grade or “Grade Point Average” of students qualified to graduate represents the total average of the phase grades earned. Diploma and Titles The following diplomas are awarded at the Faculty of Medicine. a) Basic Medical Sciences Associate Degree Diploma: “Basic Medical Sciences Associate Degree Diploma” is awarded to the students who have successfully completed Basic Medical Sciences Associate Degree Program (first and the second phases) within a maximum of 4 (four) years, in cases where they leave the university or where they are not able to complete their studies at the Faculty of Medicine within the required period. The procedure is subject to the provisions set by the Higher Education Institution. b) Medical Degree Diploma: Students who have successfully completed the education period covering six-phases required for a medical degree are awarded a "Medical Degree Diploma" upon taking the Hippocratic Oath. | |

- The objective of the undergraduate programme in the Faculty of Medicine is to train qualified physicians who adopt ethical concepts and legal rules; approach matters with an inquiring and questioning mind; can explain physiopathogenesis of diseases as well as their clinical and diagnostic features; can apply basic medical approaches for diagnosis and treatment; are aware of health problems in our country and region and equipped with sufficient knowledge, skills and attitude to cope with them at the early stage; adopt a life-long education policy; know how to access information and are able to apply the acquired knowledge; have the knowledge and skills to solve the health problems related to the individuals, society and environment; are sensitive to the community's health-related education; are aware of their authority and responsibilities defined by the Health Law.
