| Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Yöntemleri | Çevre Koruma ve Kontrol Programı, günümüzde sanayileşme ve hızlı nüfus artışının bir sonucu olarak su, hava ve toprak gibi doğal kaynakların kirlenmesi ile ortaya çıkan çevre sorunlarının çözümüne ve kontrolüne ve ayrıca doğal kaynakların sürdürülebilir şekilde kullanımına yönelik teorik ve uygulamalı öğretim veren bir önlisans programıdır. Ülkemizde Avrupa Birliği'ne uyum süreci kapsamında önemi daha da artan çevre koruma, planlama ve yönetim konularında, kalifiye ara elemanlara duyulan ihtiyaç ta kademeli olarak artmaktadır. Programdan mezun olan teknikerler bu ihtiyacı karşılamak üzere çeşitli kamu kurumlarında, belediyelere bağlı olarak işletilen çevre yönetim birimlerinde, çevre, inşaat, şehir ve bölge planlama ve kimya konularında özel sektörde hizmet veren firmalarda ve işletmelerde ve akredite olmuş çevre laboratuarlarında istihdam imkanı bulabilirler. | |

| Giriş Şartı | Meslek liselerinin Çevre Sağlığı ve Çevre Sağlığı Teknisyenliği bölümlerinden mezun olanlar programa sınavsız geçiş için başvurabilirler. Gereken koşullara sahip oldukları takdirde ÖSYM Başkanlığı tarafından yerleştirilebilirler. Meslek liselerinin sınavsız geçiş için belirlenen bölümleri dışındaki bölümlerden ya da liselerden mezun olanlar/olacaklar ise ÖSYM Başkanlığınca yapılan Öğrenci Seçme Sınavına (ÖSS) girmeleri ve program için belirlenen sayısal puanı almaları halinde programa yerleştirilebilirler. | |
| Başarma Şartları | Öğrencinin programdaki tüm derslerini başarmış olması, FF, FD notunun olmaması gerekir. - Genel veya mesleki orta öğretimde kazanılan yeterlilikler üzerine kurulan ve orta öğretim düzeyi üzerindeki dersler ile uygulama araç ve gereçleri ile desteklenen bir alandaki bilgi ve becerileri kazanmak ve temel ve teknik bilgileri kullanabilme yeteneği sergilemek.
- Çevre Koruma ve Kontrol Programında tanımlanan problemlerin çözümü için gerekli olan verileri tanımlama, toplama ve kullanmayı etkin bir biçimde yapabilmek; pratik uygulamalarda gereken teorik bilgileri, el ve/veya düşünsel becerileri kullanabildiğini göstermek.
- Çevre Koruma ve Kontrol Programı ile ilgili çalışmaları ve uygulamaları çalışma arkadaşlarına, üstlerine ve hizmet verdiği kişi ve gruplara açık bir biçimde anlatabilmek ve takım çalışması yapabilmek.
- Çevre koruma, optimum kaynak kullanımı ve sürdürülebilirlik kavramları hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak ve sürdürülebilirlik ilkelerinin gereklerini uygulayabilmek.
- Çevre Koruma ve Kontrol Programı ile ilgili çalışmalarda öngörülmeyen durumlarla ilgili sorunları belirleme ve çözüm bulma yeteneği kazanmak.
- Temel bilgisayar kullanımının yanı sıra pratik uygulamalarda kullanılacak gerekli teknikleri, beceriyi ve deney tasarımlarını kullanma yeteneği sergilemek.
- Çevre Koruma ve Kontrol Programı ile ilgili konularda sosyal sorumluluk, etik değerler ve yasal dayanaklar hakkında bilgi sahibi olmak.
- Tesis işletimi ve tesis ve/veya proje yönetimi için gerekli becerileri kazanmak.
- Çevre koruma bilincine sahip olmak.
- Sistem, sistem bileşeni veya süreç tasarlama konuları hakkında bilgiye sahip olmak.

| Further Info | Environmental Protection and Control Program is a program that provides theoretical and practical education aimed at solving and controlling of environmental problems arising out of the contamination of natural resources such as water, air, and soil as a result of industrialism and rapid population growth and sustainable using of natural resources. In Turkey, the need for qualified intermediate stuff increases gradually for the issues in environmental protection, designing and management of which the importance have further increased within the scope of the process of harmonization to the EU. To meet this need, the technicians graduated from the program can find employment opportunities in various public establishments, environmental management units operated by municipalities, private sector firms and enterprises serving on the issues in environment, construction, urban and regional planning and chemistry, and accredited environmental laboratories. | |

| Access Requirements | Candidates who graduated from the branches of Environmental Health or Environmental Health Technician of vocational high schools can apply to the program for open admission. The candidates can be placed to the program by the Student Selection and Placement Center in case of having the required conditions. Candidates who graduated from any braches of vocational high schools except of the above branches or graduated from high schools can be placed to the program in case of taking the Student Selection Examination applied by the Student Selection and Placement Center and getting the required quantitative score for the program. | |

- To gain knowledge and skill for a field that has been established on the acquired sufficiencies at the general and vocational secondary education and supported with the courses over the secondary education, equipments and instruments, and to demonstrate using of ability related to the basic and technical concepts.
- To effectively carry out defining, collecting and using of the required data to cope with the determined problems associated with the Environmental Protection and Control Program; to demonstrate how to use theorical knowledges and manual and/or spiritual skills.
- To clearly explain studies and applications related to the Environmental Protection and Control Program to the served team workers, managers and the people or groups and to able to carry out teamwork.
- To have knowledge about the concept of environmental protection, optimal resource utilization and sustainability concepts, and to apply the requirements of the principles of sustainability.
