| Program Profili (Amaç) | Çocuk Koruma ve Bakımı bölüm mezunlarının temel hedefi, 0-18 yaş grubu normal, özel gereksinimi olan, akut ve kronik hastalığı olan, korunmaya muhtaç ve risk altındaki çocukların gelişimlerini desteklemektir. Ayrıca çağdaş yaklaşımlar kullanarak çocuk, aile, eğitimci ve toplumla ilgili projeler geliştirir. Hazırlanan projeleri toplumun her kesimindeki çocuk ve ailelerin yüksek yararına olacak şekilde hayata geçirip yaygınlaştırır. Çocuk Koruma ve Bakım Hizmetleri Programı; Çocuk Evleri, Sevgi Evleri ve Çocuk Destek Merkezleri’ndeki çalışmaları yönlendirebilecek, sürdürebilecek ve değerlendirebilecek nitelikli elemanların yetiştirilmesi amacıyla kurulmuştur. Öğrenciler, öğrenim görmek istedikleri program tercihlerini bildirdikten sonra, bu sınavdan aldıkları puana göre bu merkez tarafından ilgili programlara yerleştirilmektedir. | |

- Çocuk Evleri, Sevgi Evleri, ve Çocuk Destek Merkezleri’ndeki çalışmaları yönlendirebilir, sürdürebilir ve değerlendirebilir.
- Çeşitli nedenlerle devlet korumasına alınan çocukların yerleştirildiği çocuk evleri, sevgi evleri ve çocuk destek merkezleri gibi kurumlarda çocukların korunması ve bakımına yönelik hizmet edebililir, onlara eğitimsel, sosyal ve manevi açılardan destek olabilir.
- Sahip olunan bilgi birikimini karşılaşılan sorunları çözmede sistematik ve tutarlı bir biçimde kullanır.
- Çağdaş yaklaşımlar kullanarak çocuk, aile, eğitimci ve toplumla ilgili projeler geliştirir.
