It is a higher education program consisting of an eight-semester curriculum, based on secondary education qualifications, designed to provide specialized education in a specific field or profession.

Education and instruction are conducted in a formal (face-to-face) format. Additionally, practical training is provided in the institution's laboratories and workshops. Moreover, internships at workplaces are carried out in accordance with the relevant regulations.

• Assessment and evaluation methods, the types of exams, and their contribution to the course grade are determined by the University Senate in accordance with the basic principles set by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK).
• Different methods such as assignments, projects, practical work, mid-term exams, and final exams are used in assessment and evaluation.
• Letter or grade-based systems are used to assess student success.

• Within the scope of the curriculum accepted by the relevant boards of the institution, the course information form of each course requested by the institution includes the method by which mid-term and end-of-term evaluations are made, applications, homework, presentations, etc. that affect the evaluation. The number of elements and their impact on the success grade and all methods used in course success evaluation are stated. These methods are added to the student automation system. Methods such as exams, homework, projects and yearly practice grading are used in the measurement and evaluation to determine course success grades. Exam dates are announced to the student at least two weeks in advance, and the student's knowledge and skill level is measured by answering the questions given or completing the required application within the specified time. In the evaluation made through homework, the subject is announced to the student in advance and the student is expected to prepare and submit a work that meets the requirements by the specified delivery date.
• It is carried out in accordance with MSGSÜ Associate and Undergraduate Education Regulations. The Project, which is the most comprehensive and important course of the program and lasts 6 semesters, is a study spread over a long period of time and the student's performance is evaluated by the project advisor during this process. The process is evaluated based on the student's work during the project, the quality of the work he delivers as a result of the project, and the defense of the project in front of the jury, if any. Since the evaluation covers all the studies in the process, there is no resit in the courses evaluated with this method. The in-year application grading method is used in first-year courses that are more application-based. In order to ensure that the student follows the course closely and acquires the targeted competency/skill, the success grade is obtained from all the practices carried out throughout the semester, instead of one or a few practices that are an evaluation of the semester.
• Courses may use one or more of these methods in mid-term and end-of-term evaluations. The methods used to obtain the success grade of the courses, their number and their effect on the success grade are available on each course's own information form. While these information forms can be accessed on the department's website, evaluation dates and methods are also announced to students in the form of a chart. Students' achievements; It is evaluated with different evaluation methods such as midterm exam, final exam, homework, exercise, project, application and jury evaluations. In-year and end-of-year evaluation methods are explained in course catalogues. During the pandemic period, homework, project and jury evaluation methods were mainly used in measuring and evaluating courses.

For the oversight of the quality of higher education programs:

YÖK is responsible for the planning, organization, management, and oversight of the education and teaching, as well as other activities carried out in higher education institutions.

According to the criteria set by YÖK, 'University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports' are published annually for higher education institutions. Reports containing quantitative and qualitative evaluations of higher education institutions, prepared based on these reports, are shared with the public by YÖK.

Each year, YÖK publishes the 'Private Higher Education Institutions Report,' which includes academic, administrative, and financial data related to private higher education institutions. These reports contain quantitative and qualitative evaluations of private higher education institutions and are shared with the public by YÖK.

The quality assurance of undergraduate programs in higher education is provided according to the 'Procedures and Principles for Ensuring the Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs':

1. Formation and Approval of Teaching Programs:
   • YÖK sets the minimum standards and criteria required for the establishment of undergraduate departments and programs in higher education institutions.
   • The curriculum of undergraduate programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each program will provide to students are determined by the senates of these institutions in accordance with the fundamental principles set by YÖK on these matters.
   • After the curriculum of National Core Education Programs is approved by the relevant Dean's Council, it is implemented by higher education institutions with the approval of YÖK.
2. Assessment and Evaluation: The measurement and evaluation of the learning outcomes that each undergraduate program will provide to students are conducted according to the education, teaching, and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions in accordance with the fundamental principles established by YÖK on these matters.
3. Certification: Students enrolled in undergraduate programs receive a bachelor's diploma upon successfully completing the course credits and other obligations determined by the higher education institutions.
4. Self-Evaluation- External Evaluation: Higher education institutions enter the  “Institutional Internal Evaluation Reports” from the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year within the context of continuous monitoring. YÖKAK shares the “Institutional Feedback Report” prepared regarding the external evaluation of higher education institutions with the public. Additionally,  the accreditation decisions made by accreditation organizations authorized or recognized by YÖKAK also demonstrate that the qualifications of the programs are ensured in terms of quality assurance. YÖKAK conducts regular review activities concerning the qualifications determined by its regulations.

   The duties, authorities, and responsibilities defined within the internal and external quality assurance of the educational, teaching, and research activities as well as administrative services of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, along with the working procedures and principles, are outlined in the Quality Assurance Regulation of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, which is prepared based on the Higher Education Quality Assurance and Higher Education Quality Board Regulation published in the Official Gazette dated November 23, 2018, and numbered 30604 by the Council of Higher Education.

• To graduate from secondary education institutions or from foreign secondary education institutions whose equivalence is approved by the Ministry of National Education, and to meet the admission requirements for the undergraduate programs of higher education institutions.
• To be placed in the relevant undergraduate program of the higher education institution as a result of the central examination conducted by the Measurement, Selection, and Placement Center (ÖSYM), for which the procedures and principles are determined by YÖK.
• To be placed in undergraduate programs that are a continuation of the fields studied at higher education institutions for associate degree graduates, as a result of the Vertical Transfer Exam (DGS) conducted by ÖSYM, for which the procedures and principles are determined by YÖK.

• Those who hold a bachelor's degree may continue to master's programs and, if they meet the relevant conditions, to doctoral and proficiency in art programs accepted with a bachelor's degree.
• Bachelor's students who meet the conditions set by the relevant higher education institution have the right to participate in the double major/minor programs offered by the higher education institutions they are enrolled in. Students registered in double major programs can take courses from two diploma programs simultaneously and, if they succeed, can obtain two separate bachelor's degrees.
