- Lisans düzeyinde kazanılan yetkinlikler temelinde Endüstri Ürünleri Tasarımı temel alanında özgün çalışmalar için gerekli temeli sağlayan ileri düzeyde bilgi ve kavrayışa sahiptir.
- Endüstri Ürünleri Tasarımı temel alanı ile ilgili diğer alanlar arasındaki ara yüzlerde bilginin doğası, kaynakları, bilgi üretimi ve bilginin sınanmasına ilişkin sorunlar konusunda eleştirel farkındalığa sahiptir.
- Alanında yeni bilgi ve yöntemler geliştirebilme ve farklı alanlardan gelen bilgiyi tümleştirmek için gerekli uzmanlaşmış problem çözme becerilerine sahiptir.
- Alanında bir akademik araştırmayı ve akademik diyalogu eleştirel ve kategorik sonuçlar temelinde yürütür.
- Kazanılan bilgi, kavrayış ve problem çözme becerilerini yeni ve alışılagelenin dışındaki ortamlarda, alanıyla ilgili daha geniş, disiplinler arası, çok disiplinli ve disiplinler üstü bağlamlar içerisinde uygular.

Ability to have critical awareness between Industrial Design and other fields about the problems concerning with the nature and resources of knowledge, generating knowledge generation and testing of knowledge. Ability of specialized problem solving to develop new methods and knowledge and to integrate/combine the knowledge from other fields. Ability to conduct an academic research and academic dialogue on the basis of critical and categorical results. Ability to apply/implement acquired knowledge, conception and problem solving skills with new and non-conventional environments. Ability to behave independently and take responsibility in Industrial Design education fields and to join in a work or design project as a team member or to manage it independently.
