- Hastanın yaşam kalitesini yükselten, hastanın özelliklerini tanıyabilen, günlük bakımını yapabilen, fizyoterapi ve meşguliyet terapisi yapabilen elemanlar yetiştirir.
- Hasta odası düzenleyebilen, yatak içi ve dışı egzersizler yaptırabilen, hastayı rahatlatabilen, hastayı yataktan kaldırabilen elemanlar yetiştirir.
- Özel hastalıklarda bakım yapabilen, ilk yardım uygulayabilen, evde hasta bakımı yapabilen, eğitimli sağlık elemanı yetiştirir.
- Etik kuralları bilir. Hasta, hasta yakınları ve çalışma arkadaşları ile sağlıklı iletişim kurabilir.
Ölçme ve değerlendirme kriterleri, İnönü Üniversitesi Ön Lisans ve Lisans Eğitim ve Öğretim Yönetmeliğince belirlenen kriterler doğrultusunda
