Teacher Training:

• To ensure the training of teachers who are adequately equipped in social sciences and human sciences by giving theoretical courses (field knowledge), general culture courses and courses on teaching profession knowledge in the Department of Philosophy Group Education,
• Being affiliated with the Turkish National Education System, adhering to the basic values ​​of the Republic and internalizing its philosophy, having knowledge of the field and general culture, knowing the methods and techniques related to education and training very well, having ethical and aesthetic values, respecting social values, questioning, researcher, To train responsible, productive, effective teacher candidates who have strong communication skills, who use Turkish correctly and widely, who follow domestic and international publications and who can transfer these skills to the students they will train, and who will meet the needs of the future, and to improve the quality of teacher training within the Gazi Faculty of Education. to ensure.

• Education and training are carried out in the form of formal education. In addition, practical training is provided as internships or workplace training in laboratories and workshops within higher education institutions or in industry, healthcare institutions and workplaces.

- When Philsopohy Group (philosophy, sociology, psychology, mind) program is conducted, student can understand concepts about his/her branch and explain relationship between concepts.

- Student obtains ability to evaluate nature, source, range, truth, reliability and validity of information, and he/she knows them and understands the relationship between them.

- Student can reach informaytion sources about philosophy group and use them effectively

- Student can understand and practice methods which are used during production of infarmation. Student can obtain and practice teaching programs, teaching methods, technics and strategies, measurement and evaluation information about philosophy group.

- Student knows physical, social development, learning features of learners and difficulties in learning and he/she can has approach to define, record and name them.

- Student can conceptize events and existences related to philosophy group lessons, student can interpret and evaluate values conveniently by using scientific methods and technics, he/she can analyse problems and develops solutions depending on prof and research.

- Student can practice the most convenient strategies and methods by taking development features, individual differences of students and gains and hallmarks of branch into consideration.

- Stududent can develop written,visual and auditory materials according to need of students and requirement of the course. Student can evaluate gains of learners about philosophy group lessons with different point of views.

- Student can classify and evaluate knowledge and skills with critical eye that he/she learned at philosophy group course. Student determines satisfactory philosphy group method for demands and can direct learning process by using this method.

- Student can take responsibility individually or as a group member when there is unexpected problem the solve during philosophy group teaching practice. - Student can obey the rules of quality management and process to develop philosophy group teaching, and also can join to quality management organizations.

- Student can take responsibility such as making presentation in group work, demostration, panel discussion and lecture and also to do this duties conveniently.

- Student can know about himself/herself and use his/her creative and strong skills in education process.

- Student can learn philospophy group lessons and can have life long attitude to develop it. Student know how to reach and use necessay information about teaching and learning of philospophy group lessons.

- Student has to cooperate with neighbourhood associations to make school culture and learning center, to develop reading culture in society and relationship of school with society.

- Student can infor people about philosophy group lessons and he/she can explain his/her idea sor solution in verbal or written way.

- Student can support his/her ideas, questions, solutions about philosophy group lessons with solid values and can share them with neighbourhood associations and people. Student can use advanced level computer and cognotive and communication technologies about philosophy group lessons.

- Student can attend to different cultural and art activities and even can learn about them. Since it is one of the necessity of philosophy group lessons, student has to be sensetive about worldwide news and follow developments about them.

- Student has to have apperance, attitude, manner, behaviours like a philosophy group lesson teacher. Student can be neutral with his/her evaluation, and act in the range of democracy, human rights, social-scientific-ethic values.

- Student can work individually or with team to keep school environment safe. Student has enough conscious about environmet protection and work safe for philosophy group teaching profession.

- Student can be aware of national and universal sensitivity which is expressed at national education main law. Student can act according to law and regulations which is about his/her duty, right and responsibility.

• For each course offered in the department, a midterm exam, quiz, homework and final exam are held. The impact of midterm exams, short-term exams and assignments on the success grade is 40%, and the final exam is 60%. In order to take the term exam, the student must meet the attendance requirements written in the regulations. All exams are evaluated out of 100 points and a relative evaluation system is applied in calculating students' success grades. In this evaluation; The instructor of the course takes into account the statistical results of the scores received by the students taking the course from the semester/year and final exams and the grades obtained are converted into a 4-letter system within the framework of the principles specified in the regulation. Those whose Weighted General Grade Point Average (CGPA), which is calculated from the grades the student has received, is below 2.00 for two consecutive semesters, cannot take courses in the next semester. A student who receives one of the AA, BA, BB, CB and CC grades from a course is deemed to have succeeded that course. DC and DD grades received from a course are evaluated depending on the student's graduation CGPA. If the student's CGPA is above the success threshold, these courses are defined as successful. FF grade is given to students who fail the relevant course. The student who receives an FF grade must take this course in the first semester/year it is offered and meet the attendance and exam requirements. Courses with success grades of M and G are not included in the evaluation when calculating CGPA.

In order to monitor the quality of higher education programs;

• YÖK is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and supervising education, training and other activities in higher education institutions.

• "University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports" of higher education institutions, prepared within the framework of the criteria determined by YÖK, are published every year. Reports prepared according to these reports, containing quantitative and qualitative evaluations for higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.

• The "Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report", which includes academic, administrative and financial data of foundation higher education institutions, is published every year by YÖK. These reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK. Quality assurance of undergraduate programs in higher education is provided according to the "Procedures and Principles for Providing Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs":

1. Creation and Approval of Curriculum: YÖK determines the minimum standards and criteria required for the opening of undergraduate departments and programs in higher education institutions.

1.1. The curriculum of undergraduate programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each program will bring to the student are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

1.2. The curriculum of National Core Education Programs is implemented by higher education institutions with the approval of YÖK after being accepted by the relevant Deans Council.

2. Measurement-Evaluation: How to measure and evaluate the learning outcomes that each undergraduate program will provide to the student is carried out in accordance with the teaching and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

3. Certification: Students enrolled in undergraduate programs, if they successfully complete the course credits and other obligations determined by higher education institutions; receives a bachelor's degree.

4. Self-Evaluation-External Evaluation: In the context of continuous monitoring, higher education institutions enter the "Institution Internal Evaluation Reports" of the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year. The "Institutional Feedback Report" prepared by YÖKAK regarding the external evaluation of higher education institutions is shared with the public. In addition, accreditation decisions made by accreditation bodies authorized or recognized by YÖKAK also show that the quality assurance of the qualifications of the programs is ensured. It carries out regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined in accordance with the YÖKAK legislation.

• Candidates must have high school diploma or equivalent, and must get adequate score on the Student Selection and Placement Exam. Students of equivalent programs, domestic or abroad, may apply for transfer or student exchange programs.

Graduates will find vocational opportunities in various public institutions (such as the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of National Education, Social Services, etc.), private schools, Psychotechnic Evaluation Centres, Industrial establishments. Furthermore, graduates may pursue an academic career by taking up scientific study at universities (at Master’s and Doctorate levels).
