Programme will provide philosophical culture and attitude by aid of an approach centralizing human to students.Programme will give knowledge concerning history of philosophy, make students aware of a wide civilization circle and develope the abilities of critical thinking and philosophical investigationProgramme will provide abilities of analyzing, comprehensive thinking, questioning, explanatory and persuasive writing.Program will provide the ability of using philosophical background and theoretical knowledge on contemporary issues.Thanks to this program, students can work individually and as a team for solving complex problems in philosophy.Thanks to this program, students can use several media like academic and sivil writing, speeches and conferences for the solutions of philosophical problems.This program gives students a multidisciplinary approach.

Examinations are composed of midterm exam, final exam, make-up examination, supplement examination, excuse examination and exemption examination. These examinations can be made written, oral or both written or oral or applied. - In formal education, students should attend to 70 %of the lectures in theoric courses and attend to 80 % of the lectures and be successful in applied courses to attend the final examination. - Scores in make-up examination is evaluated as the score of in final examination. - The student who accomplished all of the courses except one and has a General Point Average is 2,00 or higher has the right to attend to single course examination. - With the proposal of related committes and decision of Senate of the University; at the beginning of each academic year, exemption examinations are applied. Results of the examination are delivered to Student Affairs Office latest 15 days after the examination. With the exception of transcripts, examination documents are stored for two years by Student Affairs Office.Total grduation hours 158, total ECTS credit 240.

LYS (National University Entrance Examination) by OSYMStudents accepted by central examination made by YÖK. After candidates declare the programs they want to attend, they are placed to undergraduate programs according to their scores by OSYM. Candidates who are not Turkish resident are accepted by examination made according to instruction of Acceptance of non-Turkish Residents to Ankara Yıldırım Beyazıt University Undergraduate ProgramsStudent acceptance by Domestic and Abroad exchange made according to agreement made between AYBU and partner university (Erasmus, Farabi or General Academic Agreement) Visiting Students, can attend to lectures by the consent of related academic unit.

Alumni in philosophy can find broad work opportunities in the different areas. By means of abilities of analyzing, comprehensive thinking, questioning, explanatory and persuasive writing they can find a job in public offices and institutions and they can find a job in private sector necessitating liberal education and creativity. Furthermore, in case of getting the certificate of education, they can become a teacher of philosophy and logic in high schools or can also become an academician if they attain post-graduate programmes in philosophy.
