• Have the skills of establishing healthy communication with students and colleagues and use Turkish fluently and correctly according to its rules.
• Have the sufficient level of knowledge about Science and Technology Teaching in order to meet the needs of students.
• Have the pedagogical knowledge about teaching profession and know and apply contemporary teaching methods and techniques and measurement-assessment methods.Have the sufficient level of foreign language knowledge in order to monitor foreign resources about his/her field.
• Have the skill of using information and communication technology effectively for science and technology teaching.
• Know the developmental properties and learning patterns of students who are at the second grade of elementary education and plan, develop material and make executions according to these properties.
• Have enough knowledge about structure and the historical development of Turkish Educational System.
• Become a teacher who is faithful to Atatürks principles and revolutions, trusting in democracy, conscious about Turkish national, moral, ethical and cultural values and being sensitive to these aspects in his/her profession.
• Have skills of thinking scientific and analytic and will use knowledge generating, knowledge acquiring, scientific research methods and techniques and use it in classroom activities.
• Know the relation between social knowledge-society-environment, seek for society and environmental problems and use it in professional and daily life

For each course students are mid-term, mid-work (projects, seminars, quizzes, homework) and are subject to the final exam. Success of a course grade of crude, with 40% of the students midterm exam and final exam of the semester, or 60% of the collection is determined by the makeup exam. Final exam at the end of course grade for a course, (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB), (CC) or (BL) is one of the notes shall be deemed successful in that course. At the end of course final exam grade for a course (DD), (FD), (FF) or (BZ) for the makeup exam the student enters the course. 2.00 GPA is calculated at the end of the semester final exam below the student, in that semester, the course grade (DC) into the exam make-up lessons.The students who have successfully completed all of the courses of the programme with 240 ECTS credits and achieved a CGPA of at least 2.00 out of 4.00 are awarded a Bachelor Degree in PRIMARY SCHOOL SCIENCE TEACHER EDUCATION. They are employed as science teachers in both public and private primary schools.

Students who are successful from all lessons and having 2.00 (from 0-4 level) average and above from all lessons get undergraduate diploma at the field of Department of Science Education. Graduates of the programme can be employed in public and private primary schools as well as in private teaching institutions as a science education teacher.
