- Alanıyla ve diğer ilgili sosyal bilimlerle alakalı temel kavramsal bilgilere sahip olmak ve kavramlar arası ilişki kurmak.

- 4 yıllık yüksek öğretim kurumları mezunları
- YDS den 50 veya üzeri puana sahip olmak (Tezli ve Tezsiz Programlar için) veya muadili Üniversitelerarası Kurul'ca belirlenen bir yabancı dil sınavından (KPDS, ÜDS,TOEFL-IBT,CAE,CPE,PEARSON PTE Akademik) eşdeğer puan almak
- YDS veya muadili sınavlardan yeterli puana sahip olmayanlar için; Üniversitemizin yapacağı İngilizce Yeterlilik sınavından Tezli programda 55 puan, Tezsiz programda 50 puan almış olmak.
- Bu şartları sağlayan adaylar aşağıda belirtilen esaslara göre değerlendirmeye alınacaktır. Tezsiz programa başvuran adayların değerlendirmesi sadece lisans not ortalamasına göre yapılacaktır.
- Tezsiz Yüksek Lisans Programları: Türk ve yabancı uyruklu adayların tezsiz yüksek lisans programlarına giriş başarı puanı olarak lisans bitirme not ortalaması dikkate alınır. Giriş başarı puanı 50 ve üzerinde olan adaylar başarılı sayılır. Başarılı olan adaylar giriş başarı puanı en yüksekten başlayarak sıralanır ve belirlenen kontenjanlar dahilinde programlara yerleştirilir.
Programdan mezun olan öğrenciler, kamu ve özel sektörde çalışabilirler.

Description | 1. To know the fundamental concepts in economics and associated social sciences, and relate these concepts to each other. 2. To know the quantitative and qualitative methods and computer skills necessary for testing hypotheses derived from economic theories for the purpose of contributing towards the solution of economic problems. 3. To acquire the necessary knowledge for gathering and processing data, and for building up the scientific research capacity to guide economic policy. 4. To specialize in some of the sub-disciplines of economics, and to gain interdisciplinary analytical skills by making connections between those sub-disciplines and other social sciences. 5. To have the ability to question, interpret, and analyze the findings of economic studies. 6. To develop the ability to present in writing as a report and verbally as a presentation the knowledge acquired through education. 7. To be able to work in teams, and when necessary to rise up to the challenge individually. 8. To gain life-long learning and study skills. 9. To be able to assess one's need for advanced study and to make plans accordingly by using the critical and analytical thinking skills gained during undergraduate studies. 10. Graduates of non-thesis master's degree cannot apply for a PhD programme.
Applicants who meet the following requirements will be called for an interview.
- A Bachelor's degree in any field from an institution in Turkey or its equivalent from a foreign academic institution.
- Test scores for thesis-track: ALES: 55 (Combined) or GRE (Quantitative): 610 or GMAT (Total): 450 (For non-thesis track, no such score is required)
- English language proficiency:
- Either a Çankaya University English Proficiency Test score (at least a score of 55 for the thesis-track and 50 for the non-thesis track)
- Or at least a score of 50 from YDS or an equivalent score from one of English Exams recognized by Higher Education Board (YOK)
Students who graduate from the program can work both in public and private sectors.
