Has up-to-date knowledge in the fields of Phytotherapy and Phytopharmacy, based on the knowledge and skills acquired through pharmacy education. Attaches importance to professional development and lifelong learning, deepens knowledge by following national / international developments in printed publications, technological tools and databases. She/He is in contact with her colleagues and other professions in the field of health, and shares her/his opinions with these professional groups on current issues in oral and written ways. Using the computer, necessary technical equipment and devices, making scientific studies in common areas with different disciplines, statistically evaluating and interpreting their results. Designs a scientific study on phytotherapy, conducts the study independently or as a team member, interprets the results with a critical eye and presents them in a report. Takes part in national and international studies in the collection, interpretation and announcement of data related to Phytotherapy and Phytopharmacy in the field of health. Presents a study she has conducted or participated in at a scientific meeting, and can publish it into an article and publish it in a journal. Uses the acquired knowledge in order to increase the health level and awareness of the society. Has knowledge about the design, production, properties, quality and analysis of phytotherapeutics and herbal medicinal products. Recognizes the secondary metabolites found in medicinal plants, has knowledge about their formation, diagnosis, obtaining and effects in plants. Has knowledge about the disorders and diseases in the organism, knows the phytotherapeutics, effects and side effects, doses and interactions that can be used in these situations. Has knowledge about complementary and alternative therapies and traditional treatment systems, shares her/his knowledge with those concerned. Has an idea about the taxonomy of medicinal and toxic plants and fungi, knows their microscopic, morphological and chemical properties, medicinal and toxic effects, shares their knowledge and has the authority to apply. Conducts Pharmacopoeia analysis of herbal medicines, herbal medicinal products, medicinal plants, drugs and extracts and interprets the results. Provides training, consultancy and supervision in the fields of Phytotherapy and Phytopharmacy. Has information about herbal medicine, nutraceutical, dermocosmetic, food support and traditional herbal medicinal products in our country and in the world, and shares her/his knowledge with those concerned Reads English publications in the field of Phytotherapy and Phytopharmacy, compiles these studies and present within the scope of the Seminar course.
