| Ölçme ve Değerlendirme Yöntemleri | Sınavlar, ölçme ve değerlendirme 'Kocaeli Üniversitesi Önlisans ve Lisans Eğitim Öğretim Yönetmeliği' esas alınarak yürütülür. Sunulan dersin içeriğine göre ve ilgili öğretim elemanı tarafından bilgi formunda belirtilmek koşulu ile ara sınav, final, kısa sınav, sunum, ödev, proje, portfolyo, uygulama gibi değişik ölçme araçları bu sürece dâhil edilebilir. Bu araçların başarıya etkisi %30 ile %70 arasında değişebilir. Bir öğrencinin final sınavına girebilmesi için teorik derslerde %70, pratik derslerde ise %80 devam zorunluluğunu yerine getirmiş olması önkoşulu aranmaktadır. Başarı notu, yarıyıl içi çalışmaları ve final notu esas alınarak saptanır. Devam zorunluluğunu bir kez yerine getiren öğrencinin o dersten kalması durumunda tekrar devam zorunluluğu aranmaz. Yüksekokulun ilgili kurulu tarafından kabul edilen geçerli bir mazereti olan öğrenciler için mazeret sınavı uygulanır. | |

| Further Info | Examination, assessment and grading procedure is mainly based on Kocaeli University Education and Training Regulations for Associate and Undergraduate Degrees Depending on the nature of the course various instruments such as midterms, final exams, short exams, presentations, assignments, projects, portfolios and applications may be involved in the assessment process of a semester on condition that students are informed about their weights upon registry. Contribution of these activities to final grading range between 30% -70% and So as to be eligible to take the final exam, a student has to fulfill the attendance requirement of 70% for theoretical and 80 % for practical courses. Once this requirement is fulfilled, attendance is not required again in case of a failure and retaking that course. Final grading of a course is determined on the basis of semester studies and final exam. Those with certified and officially approved excuses are also given a makeup exam. | |

| Access Requirements | So as to be admitted to the program, candidates should be a graduate of Biology, Medical Biology, Veterinary they also must get at least score of 55 from related test parts of ALES (Examination for Academic Personnel and Postgraduate Education,graduated from of Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation,graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry,graduated from Biotechnology and Bioengineering ,graduated from Biology, Molecular Biology and Genetic in Faculty of Science ) and a score of at least 50 from foreign language proficiency tests such as KPDS,UDS,etc. in order to be eligible to take the local examination conducted by the program. The student admission quota for each year is determined with the opinion of the Board of Academic Department taking the function and qualifications of the main science into consideration and quota is stated to the rectorate via Institute of Health Sciences for approval. | |
