At the end of the programme, students will be equipped with the basic knowledge in the field of health sciences in which they will work as intermediate members and have competence in using them.Have competence in using methods and tools for accessing information and technology in the related field of health.Identify problems through scientific data / evidence and produce solutionsCan communicate with patients in an informative and effective way and can carry out the necessary proceduresHave competence in identifying devices and their technological developments related to their fieldEvaluate each patient individually.Have sufficient practical application skillsWork effectively as an individual and in multi-disciplinary teams.Use English at least at a level of European Language Portfolio, A2 Level.With awareness of the need for lifelong learning, acquire the ability to follow the developments in science and technology and ability for continuous self-renewal.Have awarness of professional and ethical responsibility.Transfer ideas about his/her department in basic level by means of written and verbal communication.Have sufficient consciousness about the issues of universality of social rights, social justice, quality, cultural values and also, environmental protection, workers health and security. Use information and communication technologies at the level of European Computer Driving Licence as the department requires.

It is necessary that each student enrolls to courses at the begining of each term and maintains a minimum attendance of 70% (80% for practice courses) in order to be able to take the final exam.Students are required to take at least one midterm exam and a final exam for each course. The midterm exam constitutes 30% and the final exam constitutes 70% of the achievement grade.( homeworks, practice exams, quiz, etc. can also be assessed as the midterm grade) The general rules regarding examination regulations, assessment and evaluation are regulated by Kavram College of Higher Education Associate’s Degree Education and Examination Regulations . Candidates must hold a high school (or equivalent) degree and must have achieved the required score from the University Entrance Exam (LYS) and Transition to Higher Education Exam (YGS) held on central basis by OSYM (Student Selection and Placement Centre).

Graduates can work as physical therapy technicians in many areas such as bed and bed-free rehabilitation centers of private and public institutions, physical therapy and rehabilitation clinics, spa cure centers, hotels and senior senters.
