- Fizyoterapi Programı, sık karşılaşılan özürler, aktivite limitasyonları ve yaşa bağlı kısıtlılıklarla sonuçlanan durumlara yönelik etkin fizyoterapiyi sağlama becerisi kazandırır.
- Fizyoterapi Programı, bilimin temel ilkelerini teknoloji ile birleştirerek, fizik tedavi ve rehabilitasyon alanında etkili uygulama becerisi kazandırır.
- Fizyoterapi Programı, kas ve kemik sistemleri hakkında açıklamalar verirken, bu sistemlerde tedavi yöntemleri becerisi kazandırır.
- Fizyoterapi Programı, bilişim teknolojilerini ve özel ihtisas gerektiren cihazları etkin kullanma becerisi kazandırır.
- Fizyoterapi Programı, bilim ve teknolojide meydana gelen yenilik, değişim ve gelişimleri takip ederek bunları bütünleşik bir yaklaşımla analiz edebilme becerisi sunar.

- Tüm sınavlar 100 puan üzerinden değerlendirilir. Yarı yıl sonu sınavından en az 45 puan alma zorunluluğu vardır. Bir dersten AA, BA, BB; CB ve CC harf notlarından birini alan öğrenci başarılı sayılır.
- Ayrıca Bir yarı yıla ait not ortalaması en az 2.00 olan öğrenciler, DC harf notu aldıkları derslerden de başarılı sayılır. Öğrenciler her yarıyılın sonunda o yarıyıla ait en çok 2 dersten bütünleme sınavına girebilir.
- Öğrencilerin 40 günlük yaz stajı da dâhil olmak üzere programdaki tüm dersleri başarmış olması, en az 120 AKTS kredisi ve genel not ortalamasının 4,00 üzerinden en az 2,00 olması gerekmektedir.
Liselerden mezun olan öğrenciler Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme Sınavı “YGS-2” puanları ile başvurabilmektedir.
- Bölüm öğrencilerini, mezuniyetten sonra geniş bir çalışma alanı beklemektedir. Bu programdan mezun olanlar, sağlık personeli olarak kamu ve özel sektördeki hastanelerde çalışabilirler. Bu alanda yetişmiş elemana ülkemizde büyük ihtiyaç olduğundan mezunlarının hemen iş bulmaları mümkündür.
- Bu programdan mezun olanlara ön lisans diploması ile birlikte Fizyoterapi Teknikeri ünvanı verilir. Ulusal ve uluslararası Yataklı Tedavi Merkezlerindeki (Üniversite, Devlet vb...), Ortopedi ve Travmatoloji, Nöroloji / Pediatrik Nöroloji, Psikiyatri, Fiziksel Tıp ve Rehabilitasyon, Beyin ve Sinir Cerrahisi, Genel Cerrahi, Kardiyoloji, Kalp damar cerrahisi, Göğüs Hastalıkları / Göğüs Cerrahisi, Çocuk hastalıkları, Üroloji, Onkoloji, Kadın Doğum, Kulak-Burun-Boğaz, Tüm Yoğun Bakım Servisleri, Plastik Cerrahi Servisleri, Yanık Üniteleri, Romatoloji bilim dallarına ait servislerde, Acil Servis Üniteleri ve Diş Ünitelerinde, Özel Eğitim ve Rehabilitasyon Merkezlerinde, Protez-Ortez üretim ve rehabilitasyon merkezlerinde, Birinci Basamak Sağlık Hizmetleri veren kuruluşlarda, Endüstri Alanlarında, Okullarda, Spor Kulüplerinde, Huzur Evlerinde, Mesleki Rehabilitasyon Merkezlerinde, kaplıca-kür Merkezlerinde, Dal Merkezlerinde, Evde Bakım Merkezlerinde sağlık turizmine yönelik otellerde özel veya kamu görevi yapabilirler
