• Ability to develop and deepen knowledge of the same or a different field of study at the level of expertise, based on qualifications at the undergraduate level.
• Understand the interdisciplinary interaction that the field is related to.
• To be able to use theoretical and practical knowledge in the field of expertise.
• Interpret the information gained in the field with the information coming from different discipline fields and be able to create new information,
• Being able to analyze the problems related to the field by using research methods.
• Being able to carry out a work independently which requires expertise in the field.
• Being able to develop new strategic approaches for solving complex and unforeseen problems encountered in field related applications and to be able to produce solutions by taking responsibility.
• Being able to lead in areas that need to solve problems related to the field.
• Be able to critically evaluate and guide the knowledge and skills at the level of expertise gained in the field.
• To be able to transfer the current developments in the field and their own works with quantitative and qualitative data to the groups in the field and outside the field in written, oral and visual manner.
• Be able to critically review, develop and, if necessary, act on social relations and the norms that guide those relationships.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing using a foreign language at least at the European Language Portfolio B2 General Level.
• To be able to use computer software and information and communication technologies at advanced level as required by the field.
• To be able to supervise the collection, interpretation, implementation and announcement of data related to the field by considering social, scientific, cultural and ethical values and teaching these values.
• To be able to develop strategy, policy and implementation plans on issues related to the field and to be able to evaluate the results obtained within the framework of quality processes.
• Ability to use knowledge, problem solving and / or application skills in their field of study in interdisciplinary studies.

The forms of assessment and evaluation for each course are pre-determined by the relevant regulations of the Institute and “Mersin University Post-Graduate Regulations”.

Students at Ataturk University may be exempted from certain courses within the framework of certain regulations. Students will be exempted from the courses if the course content is approved by the board of higher education / faculty / institute concerned.

Graduates of this program could be in the teach and research staff in departments of Histology and Embryology in medical, dentistry or biology faculties of universities.
