- Klinik Psikoloji bireylerin çocukluk, ergenlik, yetişkinlik ya da yaşlılık dönemlerinde, günlük hayatta sıkıntı yaşamasına neden olan duygusal, davranışsal ve bilişsel sorunların ve de gelişimsel sürecinde karşılaşması muhtemel ilişki sorunları, çatışma, kriz ve stres dönemlerinin değerlendirilmesi ve çözümlenmesi ile ilgilenir.
- Psikoloji A.B.D. Klinik Psikoloji yüksek lisans programı, bilimsel yöntemlere dayalı olarak, bu sorunları birbirinden ayırabilmek, sorunların oluşma nedenlerini ve devam etmesine neden olan faktörleri belirleyebilmek ve doğru psikolojik tedaviyi uygulayabilmek için gerekli olan kuramsal ve pratik altyapıyı kazandırmayı amaçlamaktadır.

- Clinical Psychology deals with the evaluation and resolution of emotional, behavioral and cognitive problems that cause individuals to suffer in daily life during childhood, adolescence, adulthood, or old age as well as possible relationship problems, conflict, crisis and stress periods that may be encountered during developmental process.
- The Master's program in Clinical Psychology aims to provide the theoretical and practical background required to distinguish these problems from each other based on scientific methods, to identify the causes of the problems and to determine the factors that cause them to continue and to apply the correct psychological treatment.
