- Odyolojik değerlendirme, ses ve konuşma bozukluklarını değerlendirme ve testler için gerekli cihazları bilir, tanır ve kullanır.
- Odyoloji, ses ve konuşma bozuklukları alanı ile ilgili kuramsal ve uygulamalı kavram ve prensipleri kullanarak gerekli değerlendirme, tanımlama ve planlamayı yapar.
- Bireysel farklılıkları, kültürel inançları, örf ve adetleri ve bunların rol ve katılıma etkilerini göz önünde bulundurur ve saygı duyar.
- Toplum sağlığını korumaya yönelik girişimlerde bulunarak toplumun Odyoloji, ses ve konuşma bozuklukları alanında değişen ve çeşitlenen ihtiyaçlarına uygun sağlık politikalarının üretilmesine katkıda bulunur.
- Sahip olduğu bilgi birikimini kullanarak mesleki ve akademik çalışmaları bağımsız olarak yürütür, bu alanda çalışan diğer meslek grupları ile etkin iletişim ve işbirliği içinde çalışır, sorumluluk üstlenir.
- Odyoloji, ses ve konuşma bozuklukları alanında kaliteli hizmet ve araştırma için kayıt tutar, rapor hazırlar; araştırma ve proje uygulamalarının tüm aşamalarına katılır.
- Mesleki performansının gerektirdiği tüm sorumlulukları yerine getirir, yaşam boyu öğrenmeyi meslek yaşamına uygular.
Üniversitelerin Odyoloji , Dil ve Konuşma Terapisi, Psikoloji, Hemşirelik, Fizyoterapi ve Rehabilitasyon Bölümü, Tıp Fakültesi, Çocuk Gelişimi ve eğitimi, İşitme Engelliler Özel Eğitimi mezunları ve lisans programından mezun olan Odyometri teknikerliği önlisansı mezunları başvurabilir.
