- Petrol ve Doğalgaz Mühendisliği bilgilerini uygulayabilecek seviyeyi kazanarak, temel konularda bilgi ve becerilere sahip olarak kullanma yetkisini kazanabilmek.
- Sürekli değişen mühendislik çalışmalarında, bilgi kaynaklarını araştırma/kullanma becerisi kazanarak veri elde etme becerisi kazanmak, verilerin analiz ve sentez süreçlerini yöneterek bulguları değerlendirme ve yorumlama becerisi kazanarak sektöre entegre etme yeteneğine sahip olabilmek.
- Petrol ve Doğalgaz sahalarında veya operasyon merkezlerinde problemleri tanımlama, edinilen bilgiyi/veriyi analiz ve sentez süreçleri ile değerlendirebilme ve alternatif çözümleri geliştirebilmek.
- Bireysel çalışmanın yanı sıra meslek içi ve disiplinler arası takımlarda etkin çalışma ve bilgi paylaşımı becerisine sahip olabilmek.
- Sektörde ihtiyaç duyulabilecek nicelik/yeterlilik analiz teknikleri bilgisine ve ilgili bilgisayar destekli araçları kullanma becerisine sahip olmak.
