- Having the institutional and practical knowledge of a greenhouse technician.
- Being able to apply the mathematics, science and botanic knowledge to the problems of greenhouse technician.
- Having practical and technical knowledge of Ecology, botany, greenhouse equipment, production and soil fertility.
- Being able to apply new techniques about organic agriculture, soil and soilless agriculture with irrigation, fertilization, maintaining disease and pests in greenhouse production.
- Having skill of cultivating their seeds, seedlings and seedling production, maintaining and economic and marketing vegetables and ornamental plants in greenhouse cultivation.
- Being able to apply the scientific methods and techniques related to the profession during the circumstances and conditions related to the profession by using the institutional and practical knowledge.
