Kilis 7 Aralık University consider students as responsible the final exam apart from the midterm and semester work. 100 is the full point in the assessment of exams. The contribution of the final exam to the course grade is 60% while the contribution of midterm and semester work is 40%. Students are considered as responsible at least one midterm exam and one final exam each semester. Success grades can be determined by looking at the works during the semester without examining the performance-based courses. For students who fail in exams or want to upgrade their grades, the summer school decision can be decided by the Senate.The coefficients for the letter grades are given in the following table. c) In addition, the following guidelines apply to grades:

1)A student who has received one of the grades (AA), (BA), (BB), (CB) and (CC) is considered successful in that course.

2)A student who has received one of the grades (DC) and (DD) is considered conditionally successful in that course.

3)A student who has received one of the grades (FD) and (FF) is considered unsuccessful in that course.

4) The results of the internship are showed in the transcript as successful / unsuccessful.

5) (NA) grade is given to students who do not fulfill attendance obligations.

6) In order to take advantage of the make-up exam, you must have a course grade (FF), (FD), (DD) or (DC).In order to graduate from this program, the students are required to succeed in all the courses as described in the in the Education and Examination Regulations of Kilis 7 Aralık University.

Our graduates can work with the degree of Social Studies teacher for the state or private institutions. Additionally, they can be employed as academic stuff in related departments of university.
