- Öğrenimini aynı alanda bir ileri eğitim düzeyine veya aynı düzeydeki bir mesleğe yönlendirebilme.
- Tapu kütüğü üstünde değişiklik işlemleri yapabilme.
- Her ders için ayrı ayrı yazılı, uygulamalı ve sözlü değerlendirmeler yapılır. Öğrencilerin aldıkları derslerden başarılı olup olmadıkları bir ara sınav, bir dönem sonu sınavı olmak üzere iki aşamada değerlendirmeye tâbi tutulmaktadır. Ara sınavlar dışında kısa sınavlar, projeler ve öğretim elemanının uygun gördüğü diğer faaliyetler yapılabilir. Bu faaliyetlerin sayısı ve başarı notuna katkısı öğretim elemanı tarafından ders planında belirtilir. Bu değerlendirmeler dersler için belirlenen ve duyurulan ağırlıklarla başarı notuna dönüştürülür ve dersin AKTS değeri ile orantılı biçimde birikimli akademik ortalamaya katılır.
- Başarı notu, bağıl değerlendirme sistemi ile harf notuna dönüştürülür. Öğrencinin, bir dersten başarılı sayılabilmesi için en az harf notu olarak CC alması gerekir. GANO’su en az 2.00 olan öğrenciler (DC) ve (DD) notu aldıkları derslerden de başarılı sayılır. Başarısız dersi olmayan, fakat GANO’su 2.00’ın altında olan öğrenciler, mezun olabilmek için öncelikle (DC) ve (DD) olan derslerini yeniden alarak GANO’larını 2.00’ın üzerine çıkarmak zorundadır. Programda mevcut olan derslerin tümünden (120 AKTS karşılığı) başarılı olmak, 4.00 üzerinden en az 2.00 genel ağırlıklı not ortalaması elde etmek ve Sektör Uygulamaları Eğitimini tamamlamak.
- Öğrenci Seçme ve Yerleştirme Merkezi (ÖSYM) tarafından yapılan TYT (Temel Yeterlilik Testi) sınavından başarılı olmak.
- Yabancı uyruklu öğrencilerin kabul koşulları her akademik yılın başlangıcında üniversitenin web sayfasında ilan edilmektedir.
- Tapu ve Kadastro teknikerleri, tapu ve tapu sicillerinin oluşturan harita ve harita bilgilerini üreten ve kullanan kamu kurum ve kuruluşları ile özel sektör çalışmalarında istihdam edilmektedirler.
- Özel sektör olarak Harita Mühendisliği bürolarında; kamu sektöründe ise başta Çevre ve Şehircilik Bakanlığına bağlı kuruluşlar, Tapu ve Kadastro, İller Bankası, Karayolları, AFAD, Demiryolları gibi genel müdürlüklere bağlı teşkilatlar, Harita Genel Komutanlığı.
