- Tarla bitkilerinin yetiştirilmesi, ıslahı, tohumluk üretimi, bitki genetiği, fizyolojisi, ekolojisi, biyoteknolojisi, çayır ve mera ıslahı ve amenajmanı konularında yeterli bilgi birikimine sahip olur.
- Tarla bitkileri alanında sorunları saptama ve bu sorunların çözümü noktasında deneme planlama ve yürütme, veri toplama, verileri biyometrik olarak değerlendirme ve bulguları yorumlama becerisi kazanır.
- Tarla Bitkileri alanındaki uygulamalar için gerekli modern teknik ve araçları seçme ve kullanma becerisi kazanır.
- Bilgiye erişebilme ve bu amaçla kaynak araştırması yapabilme, veri tabanları ve diğer bilgi kaynaklarını kullanabilme becerisi kazanır.
