Program Profili (Amaç)

Tıbbi Dökümantasyon ve Sekreterlik Programı’nın temel amacı; sağlık hizmetleri alanında kaliteyi arttırmak amacıyla; sağlık alanındaki her türlü dokümanın (bireysel sağlık kayıtları, sağlık kurumları ile ilgili verileri içeren belgeler vb.) kayıtlarının bilimsel kurallara uygun olarak tutulması, organize edilmesi ve bunlara erişimin sağlanması için bilgi ve belge organizasyonunda görev alacak; kalifiye, iletişimi ve sorumluluk duygusu kuvvetli, sorun çözme yeteneği gelişmiş, teknolojik araç ve gereçleri kullanabilen, insan sağlığına önem veren ve çağın gereksinimlerine yanıt verebilecek özellikler taşıyan mezunlar yetiştirmektir.

  • Tıbbi Dokümantasyon ve Sekreterlik alanındaki güncel bilgileri içeren ders kitapları, uygulama araç-gereçleri ve diğer kaynaklarla desteklenen temel düzeydeki kuramsal ve uygulamalı derslerden edindiği bilgileri mesleki olarak değerlendirir ve uygular.
  • Tıbbi Dokümantasyon ve Sekreterlik alanı ile ilgili konularda sahip olduğu temel bilgi ve becerileri kullanarak ilgili kişi ve kurumları bilgilendirir, düşüncelerini ve sorunlara ilişkin çözüm önerilerini yazılı ve sözlü olarak aktarır.
  • Tıbbi Dokümantasyon ve Sekreterlik alanının gerektirdiği tıbbi terminoloji, insan anatomisi ve hastalıklar bilgisi ile ilgili terimleri ve kavramları bilir ve bunları hatasız olarak kullanır.

İstihdam alanları; Sağlık Bakanlığı´na bağlı kamu ve özel yataklı/yataksız tedavi kurum ve kuruluşlarının poliklinik ve klinik bilgi işlem hizmetlerinde, hasta kayıt ve kabulde, insan kaynakları ve istatistik birimlerinde ve merkezi tıbbi arşiv hizmetlerinde çalışabilmektedirler. Kamu Personel Seçme Sınavı´na (KPSS) göre Sağlık Teknikeri (Tıbbi Sekreter) olarak atanabilmektedirler.
