• Know the physiological, physical and chemical processes and the interaction between these processes that are necessary for the formation of radiological images.
• Have the necessary terminology, medical and technical knowledge for the effective use of the devices which are used in the field of medical imaging during the diagnosis and treatment process.
• Use radiological devices for diagnosis and treatment, under the physician’s control, by taking the patients informed consent.
• Know the risks associated with the devices used in the field of radiological diagnosis and treatment, and take the necessary precautions.
• Have the ability to recognize and analyze potential problems in the field of medical imaging according to the basic knowledge and skills and the available data.
• Have the ability to develop knowledge and skills related to the field of medical imaging with lifelong learning awareness.
• Gain the skills of effective communication, team work, working with other health disciplines and take the initiative to inform the relevant persons when necessary.
• Act in accordance with total quality management and management processes within a solution-oriented approach.
• Know the basic health, environmental protection, computer technology and occupational safety as well as the technical knowledge required by being a ‘Medical Imaging Technician’.
• Know and implement the rights, duties and responsibilities of the legislation and the rules of professional ethics, set an example for society by their external appearance, attitudes and behaviors.
• Behave according to cultural, scientific and universal values within the framework of social responsibility.
• Have the ability to communicate basic English in the field of health.

Measurement and evaluation are conducted in accordance with the content of each course in order to maximize the learning outcomes. The method of measurement and evaluation is given in detail in the syllabus of the related course.Students are accepted for Medical Imaging Techniques Program; in accordance with the results is taken by the student in the central placement examination which is made by Student Selection and Placement Center of Turkey for all students in Turkey.

Our graduates are able to work in X-rays, computed tomography, magnetic resonance imaging, vascular systems, non-vascular interventional radiology departments, nuclear medicine, radiotherapy departments of hospitals or private imaging centers. Our graduates have the opportunity to find jobs in the following institutions and organizations:-State hospitals-Private hospitals and health institutions-Medical Imaging centers-Oncological treatment centers-Oral and dental health centers-Companies working in the field of sales and marketing of radiological devices.
