Every student must register to courses at the beginning of each semester, and must be continued theoretical courses at least 70%, applications at least 80% for to take final exam. Students for each course at least one midterm and final exam are subjected to. The midterm exam contribution (as the midterm grade homework, laboratory exams, quizzes, etc. can be evaluated in the scores obtained from measuring instruments) is 40% and the final exam contribution is 60% for the success grade. All exams are evaluated over 100 points. Final exam are required to obtain at least 35 points. Students, which have received one of the letter grade AA, BA, BB, CB and CC, are considered successful from that course. DC and DD notes are notes that are conditionally successful. For to become successful from a course which the student´s grade is DC or DD, overall weighted grade point average must be at least 2.0. Letter grades and their associated coefficients are as follows; Grade Factor AA 4 BA 3,5 BB 3 CB 2,5 CC 2 DC 1,5 DD 1The students of Radiology and Medical Imaging program can be transferred to the undergraduate programs of Nursing Care , and Nursing and Health Services via the External Transfer Examination (DGS).

Access Requirements

First, the students who prefer the open admission from Vocational Schools of Health in the Vocational and Technical Education Area (METEB) are accepted to the Medical Imaging Techniques program in accordance with their Secondary Education Success Grade (OÖP) by Student Selection and Placement Centre (ÖSYM). In the event of the quota of 30 stays open, students are accepted out of METEB in accordance with YGS-2 grade type results via central placement by the ÖSYM.

Conditions for SuccessThe students of Radiology and Medical Imaging program can be transferred to the undergraduate programs of Nursing Care , and Nursing and Health Services via the External Transfer Examination (DGS).The students of Radiology and Medical Imaging program can be transferred to the undergraduate programs of Nursing Care , and Nursing and Health Services via the External Transfer Examination (DGS).
Progression Paths (Relationship Type)

The graduates work as Radiology Technician in public and private health institutions and organizations. Employment fields are Radiology units and Medical Imaging Centres of the public and private treatment institutions with/ without beds under the Health Ministry. The direct x-ray films needed to diagnose the disease serve in various units such as Computerized Tomography, Magnetic Resonance, Mammography, Ultrasonography or in various units of Nuclear Medicine departments to prepare and apply the gadgets used with the patients under radiotherapy. They can be appointed as Health Technicians in accordance with the Public Personnel Selection Examination (KPSS).
