Programın amacı, öğrencilerimizi uygulamalı bir eğitim ve öğretim ortamında günün koşullarına uygun bilgilerle donatarak sektörün ihtiyacı olan ara elemanı yetiştirmektir. Bununla birlikte, turizm ve konaklama sektörünün üretim süreçlerinde görev alabilecek ve yönetime yardımcı olabilecek öğrencilerimiz aynı zamanda kendi iş yerini çalıştırabilecek nitelikli bir insangücü olarak topluma kazandırılmaktadır.
- Turizm sektörüne özgü temel kavramlar hakkında bilgi sahibi olur.
- Alanı ile ilgili yazılı ve sözlü iletişim kurma becerileri gelişir.
- Konuklarla ilgili şikayet çözme ve bilgi verme yeteneği gelişir.
- Sektörel üretim ve tüketim süreçlerindeki servis işlemlerini, teknikleri ve esasları bilir ve uygular.
- Sektörde kullanılan otelcilik otomasyon programlarını kullanır.
- Otel işletmelerinde; önbüro, yiyecek içecek, kat hizmetleri gibi temel sektörel departmanlarda çalışabilecek bilgi ve donanıma sahip olur.
- Seyahat Acentacılığı ve tur operatörlüğü terminolojisine sahip olur ve bu işletmelerde çeşitli pozisyonlarda görev alabilir.
- Mesleki düzeyde yabancı dil bilgisine sahip olur.
- Yönetim kademelerinde sorumluluk alabilir.
- Kendi işini kurabilecek bilgi ve beceriye sahip olur.
