| Further Info | The department of Turkish Language and Literature is one of the ten departments in the Faculty of Science and Literature. This program is established in 1993. The education of Turkish Language and Literature is a four-year undergraduate program. The department has five main sciences namely Old Turkish Language, New Turkish Language, Old Turkish Literature, New Turkish Literature and Turkish Folk Literature. During the academic year of 2009-2010, personal number of the department reached to 2 professör, 1 associate professor, 6 assistant professors and 4 research assistants. The methods of student assessment are, being based on regular exams, seminar. The graduated from this program could be teachers dependent on The Ministry of Public Education as well as on the private courses and they could work at the libraries. Also, the graduated can work as experts in The Ministry of Cultural Affairs and in the Turkish Language Association and also in some of the departments of Turkish Radio and Television Institute (TRT). The students of the program are use to from The Center Library of the University and The Public library of the city. | |
