The aim of the program is to research and examine the written and oral products produced in the field of Turkish Language and Literature from past to present, to share the obtained information with the society, to play a decisive and active role in relations with other cultures, and to train competent scientists and educators in their field.

Education and training are carried out in the form of formal education. Distance education can also be provided in situations such as pandemics or earthquakes.

• Gains basic knowledge about the periods, works and personalities of historical and contemporary Turkish dialects.

• He analyzes the literary works produced in Turkish Literature with an interdisciplinary approach in terms of elements such as genre, structure, language, theme, literary movement, literary theory, mentality, culture, philosophy, sociology, psychology, history and religion, sees the differentiation of form and content and criticizes them. evaluates as.
• He can apply what he has learned in all branches of Turkish Language and Literature in line with scientific principles and philosophy/history/sociology/psychology etc. understands and examines accurately and adequately by making use of social/humanitarian sciences; It produces solutions with an interdisciplinary approach for the language and literature problems it encounters.
• He teaches the language and literature he has learned in all institutions in the public and private sectors for educational purposes. He acts as a proofreader of texts in the media sector (printed and visual) regarding the correct use of the native language. He teaches Turkish to foreigners, provided that he obtains his teaching certificate.

(1) The grade point represents the 4-point scale equivalent of the raw grade point average calculated by taking into account the midterm and final exam scores of the students according to the prescribed weights. Relative or absolute evaluation system is used in the calculation of students' grade points. Whether the relative or absolute evaluation system will be used in the units is determined by the proposal of the unit council and the approval of the Senate.

(2) The principles of measurement and evaluation for relative and absolute evaluation systems, the conditions and limits for participation in the grade point calculation in the relative evaluation system, and the principles regarding the success levels are determined by the Senate.

(3) In both evaluation systems, students who do not take the final exam or makeup exam for a course and who cannot score at least 50 points out of 100 in this exam are considered unsuccessful. This limit may be changed by the proposal of the relevant unit council and the Senate decision. In units where makeup exams are not held and where midterm evaluations are weighted, there is no minimum grade requirement for passing the course from the final exam.

(4) The courses for which the student receives KM and G grades are not taken into account in the calculation of the CGPA.

In order to monitor the quality of higher education programs;

• YÖK is responsible for the planning, organization, management and supervision of education, training and other activities carried out in higher education institutions.

• "University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports" of higher education institutions, prepared every year within the framework of the criteria determined by YÖK, are published. Reports prepared according to these reports, containing quantitative and qualitative evaluations for higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.

• Every year, YÖK publishes the "Foundation Higher Education Institutions Report", which includes academic, administrative and financial data of foundation higher education institutions. These reports, which include quantitative and qualitative evaluations of foundation higher education institutions, are shared with the public by YÖK.

Quality assurance of undergraduate programs in higher education is provided according to the "Procedures and Principles for Providing Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs":

1. Creation and Approval of Curriculum:

1.1. YÖK determines the minimum standards and criteria required for the opening of undergraduate departments and programs in higher education institutions.

1.2. The curriculum of undergraduate programs in higher education institutions and the learning outcomes that each program will bring to the student are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

1.3. The curriculum of National Core Education Programs is implemented by higher education institutions with the approval of YÖK after being accepted by the relevant Deans Council.

2. Measurement-Evaluation: How to measure and evaluate the learning outcomes that each undergraduate program will provide to the student, in accordance with the basic principles determined by YÖK on these issues.

It is carried out in accordance with the education, training and examination regulations prepared by higher education institutions.

3. Certification: Students enrolled in undergraduate programs, if they successfully complete the course credits and other obligations determined by higher education institutions; receives a bachelor's degree.

4. Self-Evaluation-External Evaluation: In the context of continuous monitoring, higher education institutions enter the "Institution Internal Evaluation Reports" of the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year. The "Institutional Feedback Report" prepared by YÖKAK regarding the external evaluation of higher education institutions is shared with the public. In addition, accreditation decisions made by accreditation bodies authorized or recognized by YÖKAK also show that the quality assurance of the qualifications of the programs is ensured. It carries out regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined in accordance with the YÖKAK legislation.

1. To have graduated from secondary education institutions or foreign secondary education institutions whose equivalence is approved by the Ministry of National Education and to have met the conditions for admission to undergraduate programs of higher education institutions.

2. Being placed in the relevant undergraduate program of the higher education institution as a result of the central examination conducted by the Measurement, Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM), the procedures and principles of which are determined by YÖK.

1. Those who have a bachelor's degree can continue with master's programs and, if they meet the relevant conditions, doctoral and art proficiency programs accepted with a bachelor's degree.

2. Undergraduate students have the right to participate in double major programs opened by the higher education institutions where they study. Students enrolled in double major programs can take courses from two diploma programs simultaneously and, if successful, receive two separate undergraduate diplomas.
