• The student can explain the theoretical bases of alternative measurement-evaluation approaches and program development studies.
• Basic concepts of linguistics, fields of study, lower branches; recognize the concepts of syntax, semantics, phonetics, lexicology, and associate them with language teaching.

• Students are required to take at least one final exam for each course.
• All exams are evaluated over 100 points.
• There is a requirement to take at least 70 points for the final exam.

Applicants must have a bachelors degree and have at least 55 standard points in the relevant score type from the ALES which is centrally organized by the Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM). A candidates scientific achievement grade; 60% of the ALES score, 25% of the grade level average score and 15% of the foreign language score.

Graduates of Turkish Education Department graduate, teachers at MEB and its affiliated private schools and lecture halls; They can work as an expert in institutions such as MEB and its private schools and classrooms, and they can also serve as civil servants in different institutions of the state. They are able to teach at the undergraduate and graduate levels in State and Foundation universities.
