It is a higher education program based on secondary school qualifications, covering an eight-semester program and providing education for a specific learning area or profession.

The main purpose of the Department of International Trade and Logistics is to expand knowledge by conducting research in the fields of international trade and logistics; to provide qualified graduates in the field of international trade and logistics. To train our graduates as individuals who can be employed in the fields of logistics, import-export, management, finance and marketing in national and international companies.

Education and training are provided in the form of formal and distance education. Distance learning service has a modular structure offered as a whole package with the support of Google web tools. At the same time, library services are also provided through memberships to online databases. Finally, practical training is provided as compulsory internships in workplaces.

1. Measurement and evaluation methods; types of exams and their contribution to course success grades are determined by the senates of higher education institutions in accordance with the basic principles determined by the Council of Higher Education (YÖK) on these issues.

2. Different methods such as homework, project, application, midterm exam and final exam are used in measurement and evaluation.

3. Grading systems based on letters and/or numbers are used in the evaluation of student success.

4. Relative or absolute evaluation system is used in the calculation of students' success grades. The faculty/college/vocational school decides which evaluation system to use with the unit board before the beginning of the academic year.

5. Measurement and evaluation principles regarding the relative evaluation system, the conditions for participation in the calculation of success grades in the relative evaluation system, their restrictions, their limits, success levels and other relevant issues are determined by the Senate.

6. In the absolute evaluation system, exams are evaluated out of 100 points. In converting a grade given out of 100 points to a letter grade, the weights of midterm exams, projects, seminars, field studies, quizzes, homework, and laboratory studies conducted during the semester/year, as well as the midterm/year end exam, are taken into account. 7. Students take at least one midterm exam and a midterm exam each semester. However, projects, seminars, field studies, quizzes, homework, internships, laboratories, and similar midterm studies can also be conducted with the decision of the relevant units. Midterm studies and end-of-semester exam grades are given out of 100 points. The contribution of midterm exams to the course success grade is 40%. However, if more than one midterm exam or mid-term study is taken, the contribution of the first midterm exam must be at least 20%. The contribution of the end-of-semester exam to the letter grade is 60%. It is mandatory to get at least 50 points out of 100 in the end-of-semester exam. Students who do not take the end-of-semester exam or who cannot get at least 50 points from this exam are given a letter grade of (FF).

In order to monitor the quality of higher education programs;

• YÖK is responsible for planning, organizing, managing and supervising the education and training and other activities carried out in higher education institutions.

• “University Monitoring and Evaluation Reports” of higher education institutions prepared every year within the framework of the criteria determined by YÖK are published. According to these reports, the reports containing quantitative and qualitative evaluations of higher education institutions are shared with the public by YÖK.

The quality assurance of undergraduate programs in higher education is provided according to the “Procedures and Principles for Providing Quality Assurance of Higher Education Diploma Programs”. Within this scope;

1. In the context of continuous monitoring, higher education institutions enter the “Internal Institutional Evaluation Reports” of the previous year into the Information System prepared by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK) at the beginning of each year. YÖKAK shares the “Institutional Feedback Report” prepared for the external evaluation of higher education institutions with the public. In addition, accreditation decisions made by accreditation institutions authorized or recognized by YÖKAK also show that the quality assurance of the programs' qualifications is provided. YÖKAK conducts regular review activities regarding the qualifications determined in accordance with the legislation.

2. In line with the decision taken by the Senate of our university, an application was made to the Council of Higher Education in 2017 to be subject to the external evaluation process in order to increase quality and contribute to continuous improvement studies. This application was deemed appropriate by the Council of Higher Education and the Institutional External Evaluation process was initiated.

3. Our university has earned the right to receive "Full Accreditation" within the scope of the 2024 Interim Evaluation Program conducted by the Higher Education Quality Board (YÖKAK). With the decision taken at the board meeting of the Higher Education Quality Board dated November 01, 2024, the conditional accreditation of our university was converted to full accreditation to be valid until April 27, 2027.

4. International Trade and Logistics Department; As a result of the evaluation made by the Association for Accreditation of Undergraduate Programs in Social, Human and Basic Sciences (STAR), it has been entitled to receive accreditation valid between July 11, 2023 and July 11, 2027.

1. The following conditions are required for the student to be accepted to the University:

a) To have a document showing that the student graduated from any high school in Turkey or a school in Turkey or abroad that is accepted as the equivalent of a high school by the Ministry of National Education.

b) To have gained the right to register according to the results of the central exams conducted by ÖSYM and/or the special talent exam conducted by the University.

c) Not to be registered in one of the equivalent diploma programs in the units of formal education, distance education and open education programs with quota limitations in another higher education institution.

2. The principles regarding the acceptance of international students are determined by the relevant legislation and Senate decisions.

1. After passing the necessary exams (ALES and YDS), graduates may have the opportunity to pursue an academic career in relevant departments of universities.

2. They may have the opportunity to work in companies such as chambers of commerce and industry, exporter unions, foreign trade capital companies, foreign partner production and investment companies, national and international retail companies, transportation and logistics.

3. They find the opportunity to work in the Ministry of Development, Undersecretariat of Foreign Trade, Export Development Center, Undersecretariat of Treasury, Capital Markets Board and all private and public institutions, in departments such as accounting, communication and customs affairs of enterprises.

4. They will have the opportunity to work as expert assistants and experts in foreign representations of Turkey and other countries, consulates, embassies and public institutions.
