• Follows current developments and issues related to the profession, monitors developments about science and monitors and implements an appropriate manner. Knows legislations in the field of expertise and related areas.
• Using knowledge of the field of education, identifies public and animal health problems and submits to related boards together with solutions and, where necessary, takes action to change or manage the problem.
• By using theoretical and practical knowledge of expertise gained in the field of education performs a similar level of skills in the laboratory, clinical, and similar skills mastered, and ability to create solutions to problems related to the field.

Ondokuz Mayis University Undergraduate Education and Examination Regulation rules are applied for the calculation of achievement score of the courses; http://sagbilens.omu.edu.tr/yonetmelik/40/ ARTICLE 23 – (1) Examinations held during the year are as follows: a) mid-term exams: At least one mid term exam must be scheduled for the each lecture. However, the lecturers can also evalute the projects, the assignments, laboratories, workshops and other activities executed during the term of the year instead of mid term exams. b) Final exam: Final exam of a course is completed at the end of the semester. Students who attend the course are required to take the final exam set at the certain day and hour. F2 is given to the student who does not take the final exam. c) Make-up exam: to attempt to make-up exam of a course; student must require to register for courses on time and must attend the course regularly. Students who could attend mid term/final exams but do not take these exams with or without an excuse or who take the exams but failed can take make-up exams. F2 is given as a exam score to the student who does not attend to the make-up exam. Official Gazette dated 02.03.2010 and 27509 numbered in addition to paragraph entered into force. d) Make-up exam: Graduate students unable to enter the semester /year-end exam with excuses which are considered valid by the Board of Directors of the Institute can take the exam when the examination period of the course is opened. Grade of these courses are based on test scores of the mid-term exam scores of the excused period. A student who do not enter make-up exam a new make-up examination is not granted. Course evaluation principles ARTICLE 24 - (1) Semester credit value of a graduate course is sum of all the theoretical hours plus half of the sum of hours of the laboratory, workshop or practical field work hours. (2) The success of a course grade is determined by the course grade. Course grade of a student is determined by cumulative evaluation of the success of the student during the semester midterm exams, practical work, assingments and a final exam. Grade of a student is calculated by 40% of mid term exams or assignments plus 60% of the final exam grade. During the calculations of these percentages, fractiones retained, however, the calculation is completed to the nearest integer fractional numbers. (3) Course passing grade in the Master's degree is CB while in PhD/art BB is sufficient. Final exam score is of at least 65 at master's degree programs and PhD and proficiency in arts programs must be at least 70 points. (4) Success in describing the state of course scores, grades, coefficients and their meanings are as follows: Rate Note Coefficient 92-100 AA 4.00 84-91 BA 3.50 76-83 BB 3.00 68-75 CB 2.50 60-67 CC 2.00 G K a) Note G: Successful in the non-credit courses. b) Note K: Failed in the non-credit courses. c) Note F1: Discontinuous, do not have right to take final and make-up exams. Failed. ç) Note F2: Did not take final of make-up exam. Failed. d) Note F3: Entered final or the make-up exam. Failed. e) Note E: Work is incomplete.
