The ability to follow the national and global updates and developments in the field of Elderly Care. The ability to work as a member of a team to collect and assess data, describe and solve problems using obtained basic Elderly Care knowledge and skills. The ability to determine the physical, mental and social changes and requirements of elder and care accordingly. The ability to act responsibly as an individual on data collection, analysis, applications and announcement of the results within the framework of ethical principles, regulations and laws. The ability to act responsibly and find solutions by paying attention to the ethics in the Elderly care The ability to perform duties independently dependently using basic knowledge and skills obtained from Elderly Care Program. The ability to collaborate with other members of health care team in order to solve the technical and practical problems. The ability to assist elder individuals and families to reach healthcare services. The ability to inform authorities, community and families and presenting ideas about Elderly Care issues verbally and in writing by using gained scientific knowledge and abilities. Support the social projects and activities with the awareness of social responsibilities and encourage the community on participate in Elderly Care. The ability to share ideas and recommendations with professionals and others in order to solve problems about Elder Care. Be a good example to the society in terms of behaviours, appearance and the enthusiasm to lifelong learning. The ability to communicate verbally and in written not only with elder people but also other community members. The ability to speak at least one European language in order to communicate with foreign colleagues and also follow updates in Elderly Care.32The ability to have basic knowledge and skills to use computer programs and technologies required in the field of Elderly Care.

For each course, the method of assessment and grading is defined Course Information Form in details. A student is required to successfully complete the designated program of courses meeting a minimum of 120/240 ECTS credit requirement and have a minimum GPA of 2.00/4.00 and no FF, DZ grades.

General admission requirements for Turkish and foreign students are acceptable to begin the program.
