- The elderly care program should be able to acquire sufficient knowledge and practical skills in the field of the program.It monitors the developments in the agenda of the country and the world related to elderly care and follows developments.
- Describes the physical, mental and social changes related to the elderly and cares for them according to the determined requirements.
- He knows ethical values related to his / her profession and elderly care, and develops proposals for solutions by considering these values.
- As an individual, he acts in accordance with laws, regulations, legislation and professional codes of ethics regarding his duties, rights and responsibilities.
- It carries out the dependent and independent tasks given by using the basic knowledge that it has about the elderly care.

- It is necessary that at least 70% of the courses and at least 80% of the applications should be continued in order for each student to enroll in classes at the beginning of the semester and to enter the final exam.
- Students are required to take at least one midterm and a final exam for each course.
- The grade of success is 40%, the contribution of the final exam is 60%, and the midterm exam (grades obtained from measurement tools such as homework, laboratory exam, quiz etc. can be taken as an intermediate exam grade).
