• Graduates can define concepts in the field of management information systems and they can explain relationships among these concepts.
• Determines the necessary softwares for busineses, set up network if necessary, determines the systems, update the information system by following the developments in technology.
• Graduates know the fundamental processes, methods and techniques regarding production, organization, storage, transmission, retrieval and usage of scientific information.
• Graduates can identify and use all the necessary medium, channels and tools for transmission and communication of information.
• Graduates know organizational, administrative and technical features of different organisation, information centers and other related institutions.
• Graduates are capable to search, access, use and communicate information.
• Graduates develop their higher order thinking skills such as analysis, synthesis and critical thinking.
• Determine the strategy-structure alternatives for the different organizational structures and cultures, and prepare the strategies suitable for the organizational goals.

• They are capable of establishing and administering information centers and services. Know and use the basic business information systems (production, marketing, supply and logistics, human resources, accounting, finance).
• Understand the basic business functions (management, production, finance, marketing, etc.) of organizations, explain the management principles, uncover the economic losses and the causes and produce solutions.
• Make efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of organizations.
• Graduates are aware of code of professional ethics and legal regulations and act accordingly.
• Know and use the software project management, mobile trade, e-trade, economy, database, technology trends.
• Learn basic networking concepts and use server operating systems.
• Graduates have the ability to follow scientific developments in the field of management information systems and try to develop and contribute professional projects and activities.
• Manage the project by using computer.
• Graduates have the ability to share their opinions and suggestions based on qualitative and quantitative data - regarding the solution to professional issues with professionals and non-professionals.
• Establish and develop the infrastructure of information technology that stores, combines, reports and analyze the data coming from the surroundings and operating activities of business.

This program also provides training in secondary education.

In accordence with The Instition for higher learning (YÖK) students must meet the required score the ÖSYS exam. When the sought after score is met then students my decide on what branch they want to choose in order to become skilled in a certain area.
