Professional Health Defender Team Member Consultant Leader Scientist Communicator
- According to Lokman Hekim University School of Medicine, Assesment and Grading Instructions; In the first three years of the medical school, students are evaluated by open-ended, multiple-choice, paired, multi-choice, gap-filling, definition, sentence completion, oral, applied, structured clinical examination, structured quiz or a few of these procedures laboratory exams and OSCEs (objective structured clinical examinations).
- During Phases 1, 2 and 3 a Subject Committee Examination is given at the end of each subject committee.
- At the end of Phases 1, 2 and 3 there is a final examination. There is an examination of each clinical clerkship in Phase 4 and 5. In general, the assessment examination is performed as theoretical (written and oral, written or oral) and practical (written and oral, written or oral). In the examination, the students performance during the clerkship is taken into consideration as well.
- In Phase 6, the students performance is evaluated according to his/her study and enthusiasm in the wards and out-patient clinics. Students are graduated after successful completion of courses through the six-year program.
- 360 ECTS credits are required for graduation. However, the graduates receive their diploma only after approval by the Ministry of Health following the completion of a two-year compulsory work.
- The students are accepted according to the General National Examinations for Universities conducted by Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM).

- After graduation, the Ministry of Health provides a two-year mandatory service at the ministerial units.
- After the compulsory service, those who are successful in the Medical Specialist Examination begin their specialization training in the educational and research hospitals and university hospitals of the Ministry of Health.
